Job summary

MCC Label seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to drive adherence to the Quality Management System and support Lean initiatives in the facility. Lead efforts to maintain ISO and Food Safety certifications and support customer quality qualifications.

Responsibilities include internal audits, supplier quality, calibration, and coaching of QA Technicians. Will collaborate with plant leadership to meet quality and cost goals and participate in continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role in quality, engineering, manufacturing or lean deployment.
• Six Sigma or CQE certification is required; HACCP in food safety is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and drive continuous improvement.
• Perform internal audits for ISO, BRC, and FDA readiness; manage corrective actions.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma to improve processes and reduce defects across the plant.
• Coordinate internal audits and ensure adherence to control plans and QPOC processes.
• Coach Quality Technicians in SPC, RCCM, MSA and other quality tools.
• Assist in supplier quality management and customer complaint resolution.
• Support calibration of quality devices and instrument logs for audits.
