Job summary

MCC Label is seeking a Quality-focused professional to lead plant quality initiatives, drive lean improvements, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction in an in-plant environment.

The role emphasizes maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, conducting data-driven analysis, and coaching teams across departments. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of experience are preferred; Six Sigma is a plus. In-plant physical demands apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing technology or Business Administration (related technical discipline may be considered).
• 2+ years of direct experience with requisites in lieu of degree.
• Demonstrated problem solver with direct experience coaching, teaching, and applying Quality management systems and problem-solving techniques
• Skilled in quality tools such as PDCA, FMEA, control plans, etc required.
• Six Sigma or CQE preferred (ASQ or equivalent)
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; achieving certifications, establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Champion all aspects of personal and Plant Safety and ensure safe use of equipment and PPE.
• Customer Relationship: Promote a customer-centered culture at the plant.
• Technical Knowledge: Develop and continually improve technical knowledge of processes to improve and problem solve.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote relentless pursuit of continuous improvement and lean practices using MDI and process confirmation to drive quality.
• Quality Improvement: Optimize the production process so quality is built-in, not inspected in; support quality initiatives and corrective actions to drive a quality-focused culture.
• Quality Administration: Back-up for BRC, define operational procedures, and enforce QM standards across units.
• Talent Management: Maintain professional knowledge, pursue certifications and participate in professional societies.
• Values: Model the Corporate Values and Principles.
