Job summary

MCC is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and implement procedures to improve product and process quality. Lead ISO and Food Safety certifications and support customer qualifications while driving continuous improvement across the plant.

You will analyze non-conformances, coordinate root-cause investigations, and train staff on gauges and measurement equipment. Willingness to work different shifts and travel as needed is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
• Experience using Practice Problem Solving tools (FMEA, 8D, Fishbone, 5 Why, Pareto, DOE).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an ISO and/or Food Safety auditor at the plant level.
• Maintain ISO and FSSC documentation at the plant level.
• Investigate non-conformances and determine root cause and corrective actions.
• Analyze color evaluations, graphics, aesthetics, and run-ability parameters.
• Serve as SME for the quality data collection system."
• Proficient with the company Quality Module and roll tracing."
• Prepare customer COAs and data collection when required (e.g., CBI).
• Train new Quality employees on gauges and measurement equipment.
• Support other quality and manufacturing efforts as needed.
• Back-up for the Quality Manager and support for Quality Technicians.
• Ensure Food Safety policies are understood and followed.
