Job summary

MCC Label is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive process improvements and uphold ISO and Food Safety certifications at our Pennsylvania facility. You will lead root-cause investigations, maintain documentation, and act as a key liaison for internal and external quality concerns.

In this role you will analyze color, graphics and run-ability parameters, serve as SME for our quality data system, and train staff on gauges and measurement equipment while supporting the broader quality and

Qualifications

Excellent communication in written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Experience with Practice Problem Solving tools: FMEA, 8D, Fishbone, 5 Why, Pareto, DOE.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience with HACCP and GMPs.

Responsibilities

Serve as an ISO and/or Food Safety auditor on a local plant level.
Maintain ISO and FSSC documentation at the plant level.
Lead investigations of non-conformances to determine root cause and corrective actions.
Analyze color evaluations, graphics, aesthetics, and run-ability parameters.
Serve as the plant’s SME for the quality data collection system.
Train new Quality employees or retrain current staff on gauges and measurement equipment.
Support the Quality Manager and assist Technicians as needed.
Ensure Food Safety Policies and practices are followed.
