Job summary

Brunel seeks a Quality Assurance Coordinator III in Spring, TX, with relocation to Midland, TX in 2027. The role leads quality within projects, conducts surveillance audits, and ensures quality requirements are met across execution.

May cover PQC or SQC tasks until dedicated resources are assigned. Candidates should have 5+ years in QA/QC for field construction, a engineering/science degree, relevant certifications, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally for oil & gas

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA/QC for field construction and project completions.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering or Science preferred.
• Technical certifications in auditing and inspection preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Experience in quality management roles for oil and gas facility projects.
• Experience coordinating and administering project quality programs and systems.
• Extensive auditing of quality management systems.
• Experience with global contractors and suppliers on production facility projects.
• Owner/operator perspective on major projects preferred.
• Experience supporting project completions and turnover activities.

Responsibilities

• Promote quality awareness and quality culture across all project activities.
• Establish and implement surveillance processes per Project Plan and QP.
• Develop and oversee surveillance plans and audits.
• Oversee contractor quality programs and ensure contract compliance.
• Review contractor Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Conduct periodic assessments of contractor activities for QMS implementation.
• Coordinate subcontractor/supplier qualification and evaluation.
• Ensure surveillance aligns with established criticality ratings.
• Provide quality-related training and guidance as needed.
• Support project closeout documentation quality and turnover.
