Brunel is seeking an experienced Brownfield Quality Engineer to support brownfield projects within Global Projects.

This senior advisory role focuses on developing quality frameworks, identifying project needs and allocating resources across engineering, procurement and construction.

The ideal candidate brings strong QA/QC experience, owner-side project experience and the ability to communicate risks and prioritize work across international teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop quality frameworks and identify quality requirements for brownfield projects.
• Assess project needs and support the allocation of quality resources.
• Provide quality guidance across engineering, procurement and construction.
• Support planning for supplier surveillance, vendor inspection and field construction QA/QC.
• Communicate quality risks, recommend priorities and coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Work with teams across different countries and cultures.

Qualifications:

• At least 15 years of relevant quality experience.
• Strong experience in engineering and procurement quality, with knowledge of construction QA/QC.
• Experience spanning both quality assurance and quality control.
• Knowledge of supplier surveillance and vendor inspection.
• Strong management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• International and cross-cultural experience.
• Owner-side experience is especially valued.
• Experience supporting major international oil companies is preferred.
• A degree is preferred; relevant experience takes priority.

Houston on-site work is preferred, with some flexibility possible. Travel will primarily involve U.S. Gulf Coast sites, with potential international travel to Europe, Nigeria, Guyana and Singapore.
