Qualifications

• Four-year engineering or science degree or technical college degree plus two years' experience in related construction field.
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship for employment to begin or continue employment with our company.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills; ability to research and convey detailed/technical information to field personnel.
• Ability to work in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint; quickly learn other software applications.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain effective communications with district management, project management teams and engineers/clients.
• Examine and inspect field conditions; identify problems and cost-saving measures; take corrective action as needed.
• Identify potential safety hazards and take corrective actions to eliminate or minimize them.
• Maintain knowledge of the Kiewit/TIC Quality Management System and promote standardization.
• Manage Welding Procedure Specification logs/files for assigned districts.
• Assist in conducting project quality audits and reports.
