Job summary

Akkar, a growing manufacturer serving highly regulated industries, seeks a Quality Supervisor to oversee daily quality operations, ensure compliance with industry standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

This role collaborates with leadership, engineering, operations, and suppliers to maintain a strong quality culture while ensuring products consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Quality Systems
• Experience supporting AS9100/ISO 9001 audits
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T understanding
• Proficient with inspection methods and measurement tools

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily QA and QC activities
• Perform inspections using drawings, specs, and GD&T
• Support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Lead AS9100 and ISO 9001 internal and external audits
• Conduct supplier quality audits and drive improvements
• Review inspection reports and FAIRs (AS9102)
• Analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory and industry requirements
• Train staff on quality procedures and best practices
• Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence
