Job summary

Amphenol Industrial Operations is seeking a Quality Manager to develop and sustain the company’s quality systems and ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements. You will lead the Quality department, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to address quality concerns.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in quality or engineering, 5+ years in quality management, and knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100/IATF 16949.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality management, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Experience with root cause analysis tools (8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys) and CAPA processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality data/reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Preferred: CQE, CQA, Six Sigma, Lean certifications.
• Experience with ERP or QMS software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality department, supervising technicians, inspectors, and auditors.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce quality systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Oversee inspections, audits, testing, and root cause analysis; develop CAPA actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to resolve quality concerns.
• Lead internal and external audits and manage documentation and reports.
• Train employees on quality standards and procedures across the organization.
• Monitor quality metrics and report findings to leadership; drive improvements.
• Manage supplier quality including vendor audits and incoming inspection.
