Job summary

Accelera seeks a Head of Quality Systems and Regulatory Compliance to lead ASTM and AS9100 alignment across manufacturing. You will shape quality strategy, mentor teams, and drive excellence to exceed industry benchmarks.

You will translate metrics for senior leadership, oversee internal audits, and ensure proactive regulatory compliance, with a focus on aerospace manufacturing processes and data-driven improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of professional experience in quality management and regulatory compliance.
• 3+ years in a leadership or management capacity.
• Deep expertise in ASTM standards, AS9100 quality systems, and aerospace manufacturing protocols.
• Strong analytical capabilities with a focus on problem-solving and detail-oriented process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement quality assurance frameworks aligned with ASTM and AS9100 regulatory requirements.
• Lead internal audits and corrective actions to minimize risk and optimize production efficiency.
• Provide strategic leadership to the quality team and foster accountability and growth.
• Partner with cross-functional departments to resolve complex quality issues and embed quality in operations.
• Translate quality metrics into actionable insights for senior leadership and data-driven decisions.
• Monitor industry standards and regulatory shifts to maintain proactive compliance.
• Utilize advanced quality control software and blueprint reading to verify product integrity.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related technical discipline

Master’s degree (preferred)

7+ years in quality management and regulatory compliance

3+ years in leadership/management

Deep expertise in ASTM standards and AS9100 aerospace quality systems
