Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA, Inc. is seeking a QA Laboratory Technician to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of raw materials, ingredients, in-process and finished goods. You will ensure data integrity and assist with audits while upholding food safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree in a science-based area preferred, or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree may be considered in lieu of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical and organoleptic testing of raw ingredients, in-process samples and finished goods.
• Enter test results and other data into quality databases or spreadsheets.
• Record information in logs and forms as required.
• Advise and confer with departmental supervisors regarding non-conforming product.
• Place non-conforming products on hold and assess disposition.
