Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Quality Technician to support dairy production quality through sampling, testing, and documentation. You will help ensure specifications are met and assist with data entry and reporting.

You will calibrate lab equipment, maintain QC records, and support audits, product recalls, and customer certificates of analysis in a 24/7 facility with rotating shifts. Strong safety and regulatory knowledge is required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
Experience with food quality specifications, process control monitoring and positive release documentation.
Advanced quality/food safety training is a plus.
Familiarity with SQF, QA/QC, HACCP, SOP, GMP, and related acronyms.
Willingness to pass regulatory certifications (CDFA, DFA Appendix N).

Responsibilities

Collect samples and perform testing of raw ingredients, packaging, and finished dairy products.
Identify out-of-spec results and follow notification protocols.
Maintain QC records and enter data into the system accurately.
Calibrate and maintain lab testing equipment.
Support audits, recalls, and certificates of analysis.
Work to ensure compliance with QA procedures and regulations.
