Bento in Lincoln, RI is seeking a Quality Assurance and Food Safety Supervisor to ensure production quality and plant sanitation. This role leads HACCP and GMP compliance, trains QA technicians, and supports audits.

The position reports to the QA Manager and requires a college diploma in Food Science or related field, with GFSI/SQF experience and PCQI certification. You will manage documentation, develop training materials, implement improvement initiatives, and collaborate with operations to

• College diploma in Food Science or related field.
• GFSI/SQF experience and PCQI certification.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and time management skills.
• Experience leading QA in a food processing facility.
• Internal auditing skills preferred.

Mansioni

• Ensure quality of production and plant sanitation by upholding GMP/HACCP and company policies.
• Lead HACCP program and prerequisite programs, ensuring they are current and implemented in production.
• Provide leadership to the QA team including training, coaching, and performance management of QA technicians.
• Lead during audits as assigned by QA Manager and participate in third-party audits.
• Maintain records of finished product specifications, SOPs, SSOPs, QA forms, etc.
• Create training materials to support GMP/HACCP/Sanitation programs and deliver routine training on quality and food safety.
• Review plant issues, drive corrective actions and preventive measures for customer/supplier complaints.
• Collaborate with Plant Operations to implement quality improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Support sanitation oversight through environmental swabbing and liaising with the Sanitation team.
