Job summary

Taylor Forge Engineered Systems in Paola, KS is seeking a Documentation Specialist to support the Quality Management System by controlling and distributing formal documents, reviewing quality records, and compiling data for customers.

Under the QA Engineer supervision, you will work with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure documentation obligations are met, maintain files, and train staff on QMS documents and standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of document control for internal and customer use.
• Distribute, review, organize, and compile quality records.
• Maintain QMS documents and procedures across projects.
• Work with Project Managers and Engineers to meet documentation obligations.
• Prepare data packages, material test reports, and conformity certificates.
• Retain and file QA/QC documents; train staff on relevant documents.
• Contribute to process improvements within document control.
