Job summary

Reader Precision Solutions is seeking a Quality Specialist to own document control and program verification within the Quality department. You will ensure that all job quality docs are current, aligned to customer prints, and that inspection programs match latest revisions across CMM, Keyence, Oasis, and High QA systems.

The role includes setup inspections, MRB support, PPAP/FAI documentation, and driving quality data through SPC and CpK studies to uphold AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a quality role within a precision machining or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with document control, revision control, and quality records management within a QMS.
• Strong blueprint reading skills, including GD&T, with ability to compare prints, documents, and programs line by line.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the quality workbook for each job and ensure all documents align to current revisions.
• Verify that inspection programs and documents match current prints and specifications.
• Perform setup inspections and evaluate inspection methods for robustness and repeatability.
