Job summary

Genesis Endeavors is seeking a QA/QC Document Control Specialist to maintain accurate, organized quality documentation for assigned projects, ensuring records are complete, traceable, and readily available for management, clients, inspectors.

The role requires reading blueprints, maintaining weld maps and material documentation, and using Bluebeam Revu to review and distribute documents. Travel to project locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and isometric drawings.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain records across multiple projects.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu or ability to demonstrate proficiency.
• Excellent document management and recordkeeping.
• Detail-oriented with ability to identify missing or inconsistent documentation.
• Ability to communicate professionally with inspectors, clients, and field staff.
• Willingness to travel to project locations as required.
• Preferred QA/QC, document control, or welding documentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project job books/turnover packages with QA/QC docs.
• Create and maintain weld maps and weld docs.
• Read construction drawings, blueprints, specs and docs.
• Use Bluebeam Revu to review and distribute drawings.
• Maintain electronic and hard-copy project files with revision control.
• Track material inventory and documentation.
• Coordinate with management, QA/QC personnel, inspectors, and field staff to obtain docs.
• Prepare inspectors with digital docs, drawings, reports and records in a timely manner.
• Review docs for accuracy and follow up on missing info and signatures.
• Maintain current revisions and control outdated docs.
• Assist with audits and inspections.
• Track outstanding QA/QC items and resolve.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and project information.
• Travel to project locations to collect docs and support QA/QC activities.
• Perform additional QA/QC and document-control duties as assigned.
