Job summary

STAR, Inc. in Norwalk, CT is seeking a knowledgeable Quality Assurance Coordinator to oversee quality and compliance across Residential Services programs.

You will develop, maintain, and monitor processes to keep our group homes and apartments in regulatory alignment with state and federal requirements. Working with the Residential Director and managers, you will prepare for reviews, maintain policies, and monitor safety and documentation to ensure STAR's facilities meet Connecticut DDS

Qualifications

• Experience supervising in a residential or related human services setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in regulatory documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to organize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Compassionate approach recognizing each individual's potential.
• Knowledge of DDS requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for regulatory reviews and maintain policies and procedures.
• Submit required documentation and monitor compliance with standards.
• Liaise with STAR, Inc. and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
• Support Residential Services staff in implementing quality initiatives.
