STAR, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Group Home Manager to support daily operations at one of our residential settings in Norwalk, CT. The role collaborates with the House Manager to ensure a safe, nurturing environment and adherence to individual service plans.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and at least two years in group home settings. You will coordinate care, assist with finances, and help manage staffing while promoting independence and dignity.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• At least two years of experience in a group home, residential services, or a comparable setting.
• A compassionate, person-centered approach and a belief in each individual's abilities and potential.
• Strong teamwork skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to take initiative.

Aufgaben

• Coordinating medical appointments and helping ensure follow-up care is completed.
• Assisting with the management and monitoring of individuals' personal finances.
• Supporting medication administration in accordance with required certifications and agency procedures.
• Helping implement and follow each individual's established service plan.
• Providing assistance with personal care, grooming, and hygiene as needed.
• Working with the House Manager to maintain appropriate staffing levels and arrange coverage when necessary.
• Contributing to the daily operations of the home and supporting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of the individuals who live there.
