Job summary

Pugsley Hotel Family Shelter, located in Bronx, NY, is seeking a Quality Assurance Program Coordinator to support QA programs in line with VOA-GNY standards. This role focuses on helping manage QA tasks and data in a collaborative environment.

The position requires a bachelor's degree, two years of supervision experience, and strong communication in Spanish. You will assist in QA activities, reporting, staff training, and data evaluation, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of supervision experience.
• Training, audit and evaluation data collection, and incident management skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally (oral and written) in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Assurance & Research team in answering AWARDS help desk tickets and the Vorex Ticketing Management System.
• Assist the Director of Performance Management in daily operations of quality assurance services including internal reviews, monthly reporting, and committee meetings.
• Participate in staff training development including incident report management and electronic record keeping.
• Support the Senior Director of Research & Evaluation in data collection and program demographics.
• Support the AVP of Quality Assurance & Research in special projects as needed.

The Quality Assurance Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall support of programs as defined by the Volunteers of America program model and funding source standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a related field, two years of experience in supervision and demonstrated ability in the areas of written and verbal communication.
• Other necessary skills include training, audit and evaluation data collection and incident management skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally (oral and written) in Spanish required.

Quality Assurance Coordinator Principal Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Quality Assurance & Research team in answering AWARDS help desk tickets as well as the Vorex Ticketing Management System.
• Assisting the Director of Performance Management in daily operations of quality assurance services provided to agency program teams, including but not limited to, internal reviews, monthly reporting, monthly and quarterly committee meetings and other activities as assigned.
• Participate and assist in the development of ongoing staff training, including but not limited to, incident report management, case management and electronic record keeping.
• Support the Senior Director of Research & Evaluation in maintaining ongoing systems for the collection and evaluation of data and program demographics.
• Support the AVP of Quality Assurance & Research in special projects as needed.
