Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year unit clerk or clerical experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting preferred.
• Quality assurance experience within social services or related QA/TQM concepts is preferred.
• Billing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of intake, treatment and discharge data activities.
• Verify Medi‑Cal eligibility as required and open new client records in EMR and IBHIS.
• Ensure records comply with agency policy and DMH requirements.
• Assist in data gathering and agency quality control/quality improvement efforts.
