Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to create and maintain comprehensive test plans and to validate new features, bug fixes, and integrations. You will document defects and collaborate with developers, product owners, and support staff to ensure quality releases.

The role emphasizes clear communication, rigorous testing, and proactive QA process improvements. Ideal candidates have strong Windows OS experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a remote team

Qualifications

Experience testing software applications, creating and executing test cases, validating results, and documenting defects clearly.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including writing defect reports, release notes, and customer-facing docs.
Ability to work with developers, product owners, support staff, and other cross-functional teams.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Windows operating systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data entry, analysis, and documentation tools.

Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features, bug fixes, and integrations.
Document, investigate, reproduce, track, and validate defects and customer issues with cross-functional collaboration.
Communicate release changes with clear release notes and demonstrations for customers and stakeholders.
Use approved AI-assisted tools to support test planning, defect analysis, and release note drafting.
Contribute to QA process improvements and release readiness practices.
