Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to create and execute comprehensive test plans for new features, bug fixes, and integrations. You will document defects, collaborate with developers and product owners, and communicate release changes with clear notes for customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience testing software applications, creating and executing test cases, validating expected results, documenting defects clearly, and applying strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write clear defect reports, release notes, and customer-facing documentation.
• Ability to work effectively with developers, support staff, product stakeholders, and other cross-functional team members.
• Strong knowledge of PC and LAN environments, primarily using Windows Server and Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to use software tools for data entry, analysis, documentation, presentations, and calculations.
• Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features, bug fixes, integrations, customer scenarios, and release validation.
• Document, investigate, reproduce, track, and validate software defects, enhancement requests, and customer-reported issues with developers and stakeholders.
• Communicate release changes through clear release notes and demonstrations of new features for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to support test planning, defect analysis, documentation, and release note drafting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing standards, documentation, and release readiness practices.
