Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to design and execute comprehensive test plans for new features, bug fixes, and integrations. You will document defects, collaborate with developers and product owners, and contribute to release readiness by delivering clear release notes and demonstrations for stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience with Jira and Agile environments.

Qualifications

Experience testing software applications, creating and executing test cases, validating results, and documenting defects with clarity.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for defect reports, release notes, and customer-facing docs.
Ability to work with developers, support staff, product stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Proficiency with Windows environments and standard office tools.
Familiarity with Agile software development and issue/test management tools.

Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features and bug fixes.
Document, investigate, reproduce, track, and validate defects and customer-reported issues with stakeholders.
Communicate release changes through clear release notes and feature demonstrations for customers and teams.
Utilize approved AI-assisted tools to support test planning, defect analysis, and documentation.
Contribute to QA process improvements, testing standards, and release readiness.
