Job summary

Vertical Laboratories is seeking a Quality Associate to support our ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory operations in Glendale, CA. You will maintain the quality system, handle documentation, calibrations, corrective actions, and audits to uphold accreditation.

You'll work with engineers, technicians, and customers, ensuring accuracy of data sheets and test reports, and help roll out quality improvements within the lab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with ISO/IEC 17025 or ISO 9001 preferred.
• Calibration or metrology experience a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and review procedures, forms, and templates; keep current with lab practice.
• Track corrective actions through closure and follow-up.
• Manage calibration program: schedule, quotes, POs, vendor shipments, check-in; assist calibrations.
