Job summary

Field Calibrations, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist (ISO/IEC 17025) to support the QA Manager with document control, CAPA tracking, audits, and calibration record review. The role partners with metrologists and operates within an AI-augmented quality system.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in quality administration, strong written communication, and proficiency with Microsoft 365. Compensation is $22–$28/hour with full benefits; on-site in Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in quality assurance, document control, or regulated-industry administrative role.
• Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 or ISO 9001:2015/AS9100/IATF16949.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Ability to read and interpret calibration certificates and technical procedures.
• Excellent written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Document Control (ISO/IEC 17025) and maintain the controlled-document library.
• Process document change requests, route for approval, publish versions, and retire superseded revisions.
• Maintain master document list, revision history, and technician acknowledgment records.
• Log nonconformities, customer complaints, and internal-audit findings in the CAPA register.
• Track root-cause analyses to closure and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly CAPA metrics for QA and Lab Managers.
• Coordinate the annual internal audit calendar and draft audit reports.
• Review calibration certificates and worksheets for completeness and traceability.
• Coordinate with Lab Manager on records requiring re-issuance.
• Serve as intake point for customer complaints and trend analyses.
• Assist QA Manager in accreditation preparation and response packages.
• Participate in Applied AI training for QA workflows.
