Job summary

Field Calibrations, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist (ISO/IEC 17025) to support the QA Manager and manage document control, CAPA tracking, internal audits, and calibration record review.

This non-exempt role requires at least a high school diploma with 2+ years in quality/regulatory settings, knowledge of ISO 17025 or similar standards, and strong written communication and MS 365 skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years in a quality assurance, document control, or regulated-administrative role
• Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 or ISO 9001/AS9100/IATF standards
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive)
• Ability to read and interpret calibration certificates and procedures
• Excellent written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Document Control (ISO/IEC 17025 § 8.3): manage the controlled-document library and revisions
• Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA): log findings and track root-cause analyses to closure
• Internal Audits (§ 8.8): coordinate audit calendar and draft audit reports
• Calibration Record Review: verify certificates, uncertainty statements, and sign-offs
• Customer Complaints: log, categorize, and route for disposition; summarize trends
• Applied AI Program Participation: engage in AI-enhanced quality workflows
