Job summary

Merakey in Chico, CA is seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to join our Intermediate Care Facilities team. The QIDP will develop progress notes, assessments, and evaluations required by regulations and mentor the Direct Support Professionals.

The role involves collaboration in multidisciplinary settings with physicians, nurses, and staff, overseeing ISP development and providing training while supporting a Monday–Friday framework with weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, human services, sociology, or related field.
• 1-2 years' experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• 2 years' leadership or management experience.

Position Details

Earn up to $30.47 per hour.

Shift: 2nd Shift with weekends, 12-8pmweekend flexibility a plus

The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) will work within the ICFs to develop progress notes, assessments, and evaluations required by regulations, and to train and mentor the support team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Merakey team to create and implement all Individual Service Plans
• Conduct training related to the ISPs for the consumer and Direct Support Professionals
• Work within multidisciplinary settings with physicians, nurses, direct support staff, etc.
• Provide ongoing communication with the Regional Center's liaison or case worker regarding the consumer's status

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in psychology, human services, sociology, or a related field.
• 1-2 years' experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
• 2 years' experience in a leadership or management capacity
• Must be able to oversee caseloads and manage localized case file compliance at the Chico sites.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
