Merakey in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to join our program. You will act as the primary advocate for individuals and ensure monitoring functions are completed appropriately.

The QIDP/Program Specialist may manage a defined caseload, travel to homes in the community, coordinate with families and outside agencies, and work with a multidisciplinary team to support positive outcomes. Earn $25.99 per hour. M-F (Business Hours).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of disability-related work experience.
• Master's degree plus 1 year of disability-related work experience.

The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional/Program Specialist is a person responsible for serving as the primary advocate for the individuals and for ensuring that monitoring functions are completed appropriately. The QIDP/PS will also act as the Program Specialist (PS). A QIDP's assignment may be a defined caseload. This may encompass traveling to and the responsibility for a defined number of homes in the community SFR & CLP. The QIDP is required to travel to any day program for the individual. The QIDP is the liaison between the facility, individual's family, and outside agencies. Supervision is provided by the Social services Supervisor.
