Job summary

Eataly is seeking a General Manager of QSR to lead fast-paced, on-site operations at our New York location. You will oversee QSR managers, service leads, and hourly staff, while partnering with Retail and Full Service restaurants to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction.

The role requires 6+ years of management experience in high-volume settings, strong leadership and analytical skills, and expertise with coffee operations and POS systems. Must be onsite and ready for flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 6+ years in management in a high-volume QSR or counter service.
• Exceptional communication, leadership and team-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common retail POS systems.
• Experience with coffee production and espresso machines.
• Experience with Italian food products and wine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and directs the store’s QSR operations to maximize profitability while upholding standards.
• Builds and leads a high-performing team: sources and hires, trains, motivates, evaluates and retains talent.
• Overlooks day-to-day operations, optimizes schedules and labor costs.
• Ensures the team delivers a consistent, high level of service to all guests.
• Executes strategies around pricing, merchandising, promotions to drive sales and efficiency.
• Analyzes financials of the QSR department with focus on COGS and labor.
• Partners with senior leaders on QSR growth strategy and store plans.
• Prepares weekly QSR updates and coordinates cross-departmental activities.
