Job summary

Eataly North America in New York seeks a General Manager of Quick Service Restaurants to lead high-volume QSR operations and collaborate with Retail and Full Service teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will recruit and mentor a high-performing team, optimize labor and pricing strategies, and drive sales while ensuring quality standards across coffee, beverages, and Italian foods. Onsite availability, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years of management experience in a high-volume quick service or counter service venue.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, motivational and team-building skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, analytical and business management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and common retail Point of Sales systems.
• Experience and knowledge in coffee production and manual espresso machines.
• Experience with Italian food products and wine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and optimizes the QSR operations to maximize profitability while upholding Eataly’s mission, values, policies, quality and guest experience standards.
• Builds and leads a high-performing team: sources and hires, trains, motivates, evaluates, develops and retains talent.
• Oversees day-to-day operations, optimizes schedules and labor deployment to minimize costs and maximize sales.
• Ensures consistent, high-level service for all guests.
• Executes pricing, merchandising, new product introduction and promotions to drive efficiency and sales.
• Analyzes financials of the QSR department focusing on COGS and labor.
• Partners with senior leaders and corporate to grow the QSR business.
• Prepares weekly updates and coordinates with other departments to meet store goals.
• Manages food/beverage needs and procurement; receives orders and checks for compliance.
• Assists with payroll, scheduling and terminations as needed.
• Documents and resolves employee and guest incidents.
• Performs other duties as required.
