Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Spotsylvania County, VA is seeking a QSR Cashier to take orders, handle payments, and hand out items while keeping a clean, efficient dining area. The role emphasizes strong guest service, accurate order taking, and friendly, energetic interaction with guests.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of quick service/fast food experience.
• Prior guest service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Must have full knowledge of the menu, food items, specials of the day if applicable, refrigerated case items, appropriate prices, layout of the resort and its storage closets.
• Must be able to greet guests with energy, a genuine smile, positive body language, focused eye contact, and in a timely fashion.
• Answer questions about food, beverages, restaurants, resort services and all activities that Kalahari Resorts has to offer.
• Engage in friendly conversation while waiting orders or ringing up the menu items.
• Maintain clean, neat, and organized service area, including cafeteria tables and service/condiment stations using proper food-handling and sanitation regulations
