Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in the United States is seeking enthusiastic Quick Service Cooks to join our Concessions team. In this fast-paced role you’ll prepare and serve quality food efficiently, and work as part of a collaborative culinary team to create a positive guest experience.

We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities with flexible scheduling. Pay rate is $15-$18/hr, and interviews begin in September with an October start date.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in high-volume kitchen or concessions preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Quick Service Cook

We are seeking enthusiastic culinary team members of all experience levels to join our Concessions team as Quick Service Cooks. In this fast-paced role, you’ll prepare and serve quality food efficiently, create a positive experience for our guests, and work as part of a collaborative team.

Pay rate : $15-$18/hr.

We’re hiring for both full-time and part-time opportunities, with flexible scheduling options available.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and proper food safety procedures.
• Set up and maintain an organized, well-stocked workstation throughout each shift.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure food is prepared accurately and served in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and temperature-control procedures while helping maintain a safe and efficient kitchen environment.

WhatWe’reLooking For

• 1 + years of experience in a high-volume restaurant/food/concessions outlet production kitchen is preferred, or experience in a similar capacity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, work under pressure, and meet deadlines with particular attention to detail.
• Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs. without restriction.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
