Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky, OH is seeking a Cabana Server to deliver friendly, responsive service and help create a memorable beverage and dining experience for all guests.

In this role you will greet guests, explain menu options, relay special requests, and ensure dietary needs are accommodated while collaborating with a welcoming team at America’s largest indoor waterpark resort.

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking aCabana Server.In this role, you will be responsible forproviding friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectations beverage and dining experience for all guests

Starting Rate:$8.00

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests, inform them of drink specials, provide menu tours, and recommend items you genuinely feel guests will enjoy and advise any menu changes.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in the point-of-sale system and relay any special dietary needs and special requests.
• Deliver food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner, along with the appropriate accompaniments and condiments from service bars.

What We’re Looking For

• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Ability to operate a Micros (cash register) terminal and Phone system.
• Must be effective in handling opportunities in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
