Job summary

Kalahari Resorts is seeking a Restaurant Kitchen Supervisor to assist the Kitchen Manager with daily operations, including food purchasing, preparation, and maintaining quality standards. You will train staff and ensure sanitation, portion control, and cost management are implemented consistently.

You are expected to thrive in a fast-paced environment, lead with a positive attitude, and help deliver exceptional guest experiences across our resort properties.

Restaurant KitchenSupervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for Assisting the Restaurant Kitchen Manager in all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation and maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness; training of associates in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion and cost control and sanitation and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, work under pressure and meet deadlines with particular attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly on various levels to include senior management, guests, vendors, and associates.
• Ability to get along well with others, to demonstrate flexibility and patience, to work as a member of a team.
• Good knowledge of food trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentations are helpful.
