Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager in Goodland, KS to support the General Manager in running daily drive-in operations and training team members. You will help ensure quality food, cleanliness, safety, and efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with scheduling, inventory, and administrative tasks while maintaining guest satisfaction and timely responses to guest requests. A strong team player with leadership abilities is valued.

Qualifications

• Effective communication, basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Follow directions and work with autonomy; ability to multi-task and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing drive-in operations.
• Train and support other employees to ensure quality food in a clean, safe and efficient manner.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitor staffing levels, inventory, and food cost control; complete weekly inventory.
• Support administrative duties including maintaining files and records.
• Reinforce a customer service mentality and respond to guest requests promptly.
