Job summary

Eataly Los Angeles is seeking a Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) Assistant General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations at a single Eataly location. The role reports to the QSR General Manager and supervises the QSR staff, including service leads, baristas, sales associates and stockers.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of management experience in counter-service or retail, with exceptional communication, leadership and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 2+ years of management experience in counter-service or retail.
• Strong communication, leadership and teambuilding skills.
• Experience and knowledge in coffee production and espresso machines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the QSR General Manager on all aspects of management.
• Monitors budget to ensure expenditures stay within limits.
• Ensures guest experience standards are consistently met.
• Creates schedules and submits payroll with GM approval.
• Hires, trains, motivates, evaluates and terminates staff as needed.
• Documents, investigates and resolves incidents with staff and guests.
• Manages purchases and checks orders for specifications.
• Oversees cleaning and maintenance per health standards.
• Sends daily shift notes to the GM.
• Performs other duties as required.
