The Revenue Administration Division of the Comptroller's Office in Annapolis seeks a Revenue Administrator II to supervise the Questionable Returns Detection Team (QRDT). The role involves directing a team of Revenue Examiners and Revenue Specialist I’s, reviewing suspected fraudulent returns in GPE and related systems, and coordinating with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

Five years of professional work experience in auditing, accounting, tax law, general management, or customer service.
Substitution options: associate degree for two years, bachelor’s degree for four years, 30 college credits for up to three years, graduate education in a related field, CPA license, or military service credit.
Education obtained outside the U.S. requires credential evaluation; provide course-by-course evaluation per NES/NACES guidelines.

Responsabilités

Direct supervision of a team of Revenue Examiners and Revenue Specialist I’s in reviewing and adjusting suspected fraudulent returns.
Utilize COM systems (GPE, BobJ/Data Warehouse, MeF, SMART) to support investigations; provide guidance and training to staff.
Participate in meetings with FDBI, fraud contractor Fire Horse Services, ISAC, FTA, and other partners as directed.
Telework eligibility after a six-month probationary period.
