Job summary

The Revenue Administrator II, based in Annapolis, MD, will supervise a team of Revenue Examiners and Revenue Specialist I’s on reviewing and adjusting suspected fraudulent returns in GPE using BobJ/Data Warehouse, MeF, Portal, SMART, and related systems.

The role involves coordinating with FDBI, the Comptroller’s fraud contractor, ISAC, and other partners; assisting victims of identity theft and tax preparers after data breaches; and preparing referrals to the Field Enforcement Division.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state and federal tax forms, laws, rules and regulations.
• Experience reviewing, adjudicating, and adjusting suspected fraudulent returns.
• Experience working with COM Systems and related tools.
• Proficient MS Office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience leading training (one-on-one and group).

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Revenue Examiners and Revenue Specialist I’s on review/adjustment of suspected fraudulent returns in GPE.
• Utilize BobJ/Data Warehouse, MeF, Portal, SMART and other tools; coordinate with FDBI and COM fraud contractor.
• Assist victims of identity theft and tax preparers affected by data breaches; prepare case referrals to Field Enforcement Division.
