Job summary

Cleveland Electric Laboratories in Twinsburg, OH is seeking a QMS Manager to lead and improve the Quality Management System across manufacturing, calibration, certification, and service operations.

The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, ISO/IEC 17025:2017, and related standards, while partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations to prevent defects and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in quality management in regulated manufacturing/lab environments.
• Experience developing, administering and improving a formal QMS (ISO 9001:2015).
• Strong auditing, nonconformance, RCA, corrective action, and document control skills.
• Analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve CEL's integrated Quality Management System.
• Ensure QMS processes comply with ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540, A2LA, and customer/regulatory requirements.
• Create and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, forms, records, and other controlled documentation.
• Manage document and record-control to ensure current, approved information is available.
• Monitor changes to standards and customer requirements and coordinate implementations.
• Promote a culture of quality, accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
• Plan, coordinate, and participate in internal quality audits.
• Prepare the organization for external certification, surveillance, accreditation, and customer audits.
• Serve as primary contact during quality-system audits and assessments.
• Track audit findings, corrective actions, and closure.
• Ensure objective evidence demonstrates compliance and effectiveness of the QMS.
• Identify systemic risks and opportunities for improvement.
