Job summary

Cleveland Electric Laboratories is seeking a seasoned QMS Manager to lead and continuously improve the company’s Quality Management System across manufacturing, calibration, certification, and service operations.

The role ensures ongoing compliance with ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, ISO/IEC 17025:2017, ANSI/NCSL Z540, and A2LA requirements, driving audits, corrective actions, and process improvements with cross-functional teams in Northeast Ohio.

Qualifications

• Strong auditing and nonconformance handling
• Root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• Document control and record-keeping
• Experience administering ISO 9001:2015 and related standards

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the QMS across manufacturing, calibration, certification, and service operations
• Coordinate internal quality audits and prep for external audits
• Manage nonconformance, CAPA, containment and effectiveness verification
• Track audit findings and close corrective actions
• Develop and report quality KPIs and drive data-driven improvements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Manufacturing to prevent defects
• Support supplier quality and calibration laboratory activities
• Deliver QMS training and promote a culture of quality
