Job summary

Trilogy is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA/CMA) to assist with administering medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse and DON, and to help residents with daily living activities. The role emphasizes accuracy with the five rights of medication administration and proper medication charting.

Requirements include state certification as a QMA/CMA, ongoing CNA certification, and 0–1 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Certified as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) or CMA by the state and maintain a CNA certification in good standing.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, administer, and record certain prescribed medications for residents under licensed nurse supervision.
• Practice the five rights of medication administration within the scope of your role.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Label, store, receive and destroy medication per company policy.
• Perform medication charting as directed by the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
