Job summary

The State of Colorado at Wheat Ridge Regional Center is seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to supervise staff and coordinate comprehensive supports for individuals with intellectual disabilities. You will ensure IPP development, active treatment, and regulatory compliance in a dynamic 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities include budget oversight, on-call rotation approximately every eight weeks, and leading interdisciplinary teams to promote independence and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the Human Services field; experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; supervisory experience.
• Eight (8) years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience equal to eight years.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and coordinate comprehensive services for individuals with intellectual disabilities and safeguard their rights and safety.
• Supervise two Residential Coordinators and 20-25 direct care staff; lead the Interdisciplinary Team to develop IPP and monitor progress.
• Direct overall department operations, approve budgets, ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal mandates.
• Lead ID Team processes, coordinate audits, ensure active treatment components, and serve as main contact for auditors and surveyors.
• Provide case management for up to 24 individuals and support Medicaid/Social Security processes; advocate for individuals in various situations.
