ABB in Westerville, OH is seeking an engineer to act as a design authority for an electrical discipline with low to medium complexity. You will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger ones, applying basic design thinking to deliver cost-effective solutions per ABB standards.

Onsite in Westerville with up to 50% travel. You will lead planning, installation, commissioning, and testing of QCS hardware, train customers, and ensure successful project delivery while building

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; HS Diploma with 5+ years also considered.
• Experience in field service is a plus and 1–3 years Industrial Experience would be a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with self-motivation and curiosity to learn new technologies.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical sales support by developing hardware solutions, integration strategies, and system designs for ABB Quality Control System (QCS) opportunities and upgrades.
• Lead project planning and execution activities, including installation and commissioning plans, hardware procurement, resource coordination, and schedule management.
• Design, test, and implement QCS hardware solutions, including electrical documentation, system integration testing, and customer acceptance activities.
• Serve as the technical lead during installation, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting, ensuring successful project delivery and operational excellence.
• Build strong customer relationships by delivering training, providing expert technical guidance, and representing a unified ABB experience throughout the project lifecycle.
