Job summary

ABB is seeking an experienced field service professional for a remote-based role in Cleveland, OH, with up to 80% travel. You will lead complex site service activities, identify new ABB service opportunities, and coach team members while ensuring safety and quality in every job.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, strong Symphony Plus background, and knowledge of control systems, with solid communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 8+ years minimum experience, strong background in Symphony Plus preferred.
• Knowledge in any Controls System would be considered.
• Computer skills and hardware experience.
• Open to travel 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Leads complex site field service activities, ensuring strict compliance with safety and environmental guidelines.
• Drives identification of new service business opportunities in partnership with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Acts as a technical trainer/coach for team members and customers.
• Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer's operations and eliminate pain points.
• Applying safety rules and safe practices, as well as environmental responsibilities during all service activities.
• Leading Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities at customer sites and reporting unsafe practices and incidents to ensure a safe working environment.
