ABB Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to serve as technical design authority and customer-facing lead on Critical Power projects. You will coordinate with ABB service, engineering, factory, and product management to resolve customer quality issues and ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years in electrical distribution or power systems, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 40% (remote work supported).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 7+ years of experience; Master's with 5+ years is acceptable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Teams; ability to leverage AI tools in job functions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to establish partnerships with ABB Product management, engineering, and service.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ABB's primary customer contact for quality and technical issues, coordinating communications, onsite support, action plans, and timelines.
• Act as the technical and design authority for engineering deliverables on moderate- to high-complexity projects.
• Review and approve designs, perform verifications, and ensure safety, quality, and contractual compliance.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges while communicating product gaps and market needs to teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful project execution and timely delivery.
