Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Technician – QC – IAPI to perform accurate testing of routine lab samples under GMP guidelines. You will participate in SPV of analytical data, assist in investigations, and support calibration and maintenance activities.

The role requires an Associate degree in science or 2+ years GMP lab experience, strong math and documentation skills, and the ability to work in a highly regulated environment. Competitive benefits and a rotating night schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2+ years of demonstrated relevant experience in a GMP analytical lab.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft Office products, LIMS, etc.
• Ability to work in a lab environment with PPE and safety requirements.
• Demonstrated strong math and documentation skills.
• Demonstrated strong oral and written communication and interpersonal interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and safely perform sample preparation and analysis using analytical test methods (HPLC, UPLC, GC, Karl Fisher titrations) or related activities per procedures.
• Perform data entry and review own work for accuracy per procedures, standards, and GMP.
• Recognizes deviations and initiates investigations.
• Verify (SPV) analytical data of other analysts in the lab.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement in daily work activities.
• Troubleshoot equipment and methods as required.
• Train and mentor others in lab where applicable.
• Notify management per procedures or standards.
• Perform routine equipment qualifications/calibrations or maintenance and participate in investigations.
