Zohorecruit at Fort Irwin, CA seeks a Quality Control Officer / Site Safety & Health Officer (QC/SSHO) to ensure construction work complies with contract requirements, codes, project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. This role oversees the Quality Control Plan, Accident Prevention Plan, inspections, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Candidates must hold OSHA certification or safety trainings, coordinate safety with subcontractors, conduct daily site

Formación

• OSHA certification or OSHA/Safety trainings required.
• Experience in quality control and site safety programs.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and maintain the project Quality Control Plan.
• Conduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections for all DFOW.
• Verify materials, equipment and workmanship conform to contract requirements.
• Maintain quality control documentation, inspection reports, deficiency logs, testing records, and as-built documentation.
• Identify and track non-conforming work and ensure corrective actions.
• Coordinate quality inspections and testing with subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Prepare daily QC reports and provide status updates to project management.
• Implement and enforce the project APP and Site Safety & Health Plan.
• Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and audits.
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
• Develop and review AHAs for project activities.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1, site requirements, and company safety policies.
• Monitor subcontractor safety performance and proper PPE usage.
• Stopwork when unsafe conditions are identified.
