Job summary

Facility Services Management, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager / Site Safety and Health Officer to ensure contract objectives are met and to oversee quality and safety programs.

The role includes leading the Quality Management System, coordinating corrective actions, and maintaining compliance with customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, at least five years in construction-related roles, and experience with OSHA/USACE standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• Minimum five years in similar construction/project leadership roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while delivering customer service.
• Ability to develop Quality Plans and Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Direct removal, rework, or replacement of defective materials or poor-quality workmanship.
• Perform inspections, identify corrective and preventive actions, and follow up.
• Coordinate with customers to ensure corrective actions and compliance with specifications.
• Prepare and document quality plans, policies, and procedures; include subcontract activities.
• Plan and conduct internal audits.
• Verify subcontractor records and equipment documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and promote quality awareness.
• Coordinate Subcontractor Performance Evaluation program.
