Job summary

Leisnoi, Inc. seeks an experienced Site Safety and Health Officer/Quality Control (SSHO/QC) to manage QC on projects from design to completion at San Angelo, TX. The role focuses on implementing safety, health, and environmental programs to achieve a zero-incident culture.

You will coordinate with project managers and construction staff, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and effective documentation of QC and safety activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• 5 years QCM experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DoE, or DoD projects.
• Course: Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors.
• Familiar with USACE EM 385-1-1 and safety compliance.
• 3-5 years SSHO experience including industrial safety.
• CPR/First Aid training.
• Must possess valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Post Award Kick-off, Partnering, Preconstruction, Design Development, and Coordination and Mutual Understanding Meetings.
• Implement the \"Three Phase of Control\" plan.
• Inspect all work and rework to ensure contract compliance; maintain a rework log.
• Stop any non-compliant work and direct replacement of defective work.
• Prepare daily QC reports and align with daily contractor reports.
• Lead weekly QC meetings with the Commissioning Authority and site team.
• Review and approve design/construction submittals before on-site work proceeds.
• Maintain submittal register and up-to-date As-built drawings.
