Job summary

Serán BioScience is seeking a Sample Associate to help organize and coordinate inventory for the Quality Control testing laboratory in Bend, Oregon. You will manage QC sample inventory, including receipt, handling, shipping, and storage to support GMP retention, stability programs, and external CTL testing.

This entry-level role emphasizes accurate documentation, record keeping, and timely communication with CTLs and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Sample coordination and receipt from other departments for internal and external testing.
• Manages QC sample inventory including in-process, release, retain, and stability samples.
• Ships samples to external Contract Testing Laboratories (CTL).
• Follows up with CTLs on testing and turnaround times to meet deadlines.
• Performs data entry for tracking & trending of sample management and laboratory reports.
• Keeps accurate and complete records per cGMP.
• Effectively communicates updates and results from CTLs to internal team and management.
• Initiates laboratory investigations, including OOS.
• All other duties as assigned.
